Welsh Harlequin first eggs

So we have two female and one male Welshy. We raised them from ducklings back in June. Thinking we would not start getting eggs until spring or summer. Well last night I went to put them to bed and noticed two of them. They both were frozen and cracked. Could the shells just not be that strong yet since it is the first lay? I have had frozen chicken eggs and never had them crack.

So mad at myself. I just went out to check on eggs. There was only one but I dropped and broke the dang thing. It was a good one too. Not frozen yet

That sucks......I had gotten new glasses last spring so was not walking to great due to having to get used to them...Had all my Chicken eggs in my pocket and tripped coming out of the Coop...5 eggs busted in my pocket....lol.........
