Its quite simple to tell hen from drake once they get about 5 or 6 months.Drakes have a curl on the tail,and have a raspier voice.,and depdning on the breed,they usually are prettier.Do only drakes do this.? I have a magpie that I thought was a female, and she does this all the time outside of water. Whenever me or my pit go near her(or she will run up to the pit) she will get into this position, I kinda figured it was a submissive sign, but you guys have only mentioned drakes doing it.
