Just wanted to say hello. Been lurking for a couple days and have decided to join. Seems like a very knowledgeable and active community here; so I'm not sure I can add much, but hope to learn and pass it on some day.

Do you have any pet chickens, ducks, turkey, etc?

My dad has chickens and I have helped him with them over the years. They are White LEghorns.

A 4h buddy told me about this site. I am looking for a new breed to raise myself and he said this was a good place to look.
 
Well, I'm really liking historical chickens that were important around the founding of the USA. So I guess a dual purpose breed like a dorking or Dominique.

Want them for eggs, meat, and show.
