Ok last post on this chick - This is my only questionable chick left. It is just turning 8wks old. It is the last to feather out... still no back feathers just the down and wings are bald in spots. The smallest chick of the group. The comb did grow when it was younger but hasn't grown much. It is in between the pullets and cockerels comb.... not tiny but not big. it is yellowish / orange.... but also changes colors to red some days then back to orange/yellow.
It is a mixed breed and I have no idea on the breed of the parents.

On a single comb I have noticed with this batch of chicks all the roos when the comb is smaller had three noticeable points at the base of the comb where my pullets only had a single row of points.... any correlation or just a coincidence? I'll post a pic to show what I'm talking about.
