5 year old male quail

HOLY CROW.....I love the pictures!! Just adorable!! I am not sure who is cuter here, they are ALL such cutie pies!! Love the Lounging Quail and of course Salem is so sweet looking!

You might want to trim that white quails beak? I believe I can see the blood line way up above the lower beak, so it is safe to trim off. When they get too long, they have a hard time picking things up. But that one sure is adorable!!

Sounds like your babies are keeping you busy today and the weather is fair. I had to run to town to see if I could find another dog food for Lollie. He is 8 years old and losing his teeth, he has a very sensitive stomach and barfs really easy if the food is not grain free or he stays on any food too long. I don't think he can tolerate all the processed foods. SO...I have decided to make his own food myself! I purchased some Turkey breasts, some sweet potatoes, frozen peas and carrots and I cooked all these things up for him. Tore up the Turkey into tiny bite size pieces, and I scrambled up and egg, slopped it right on top and wow, he tore into this food like he was starving to death!! LOL I need to either find a good dog supplement or double up on his daily vitamins so he isn't lacking in vitamins or minerals. Some of these pet foods may be made here in the US, but the food can be sourced out of China. Lollie barfs every time he eats food from China so I have to be very careful with food for him. Anyway, I think he will be much better!!

Simon is wild this afternoon, lounging at the hutch bars trying to attack me. LOL Vicious bird!!!

I need to go clean out the wood stove and bring more wood in for tonight. I hope you have a fabulous evening!
