Dusk stopped him from going onward, and looped her neck around his. She whispered "I don't know why so decided to cross the border...but I'm not complaining." She then added with a more nervous tone "But we can't be seen together." She uncraned her neck and ran back to her camp after licking him farewell.

Cliff was saddened by the fact that they couldn't be seen together but knew that it was true. He ran off as well and snuck back into camp. He found himself standing near multiple groups of canines talking about the fights No, I missed the final fight! he mentally scolded himself. He walked around the canines and stopped in front of Apple's group. "So, who won?" He asked, not specifically asking a certain dog but instead just wanting an answer from any of them.

Dusk returned to camp and laid dreamily in camp, thinking about seeing Cliff the following day. Oh, how wonderful he was. And that's when a surprising thought entered her mind:pups.
