Waiting on my eggs to hatch and have to much time thinking. If some one placed eggs in a auto turner up side down big in down and on day 18 placed them right at lockdown would they hatch? I have read do many post on hatching and haven't seen that question. Was wondering how forgiven are eggs during the incubation process. Any thoughts on this.

It's not ideal, and you might not have the best hatch, but I think some will hatch. I have hatched eggs that I accidentally incubated upside down for part of the time. There have been other folks that have had successful hatches after many wrong moves... Here's one post.

My hatch last weekend, I had 31 shipped eggs with horrible air cells. 5 chicks hatched days 19 and 20, then the incubator failed. Eggs dropped to 73 degrees. I had another incubator running, so I set that 'bator up as a hatcher, and moved the eggs. 14 more hatched. It was the worst hatch I've had lately, but it turned out MUCH better than I thought it would have. So, eggs can be surprisingly hardy!

There is a TON of information on the first couple pages of this thread:

Good luck!!!!!
