How many are there? I remember my first three ameraucanas as chicks, unfortunately one was a rooster that we couldn't keep, but they all turned out to be really sweet and funny birds! Plus, the blue eggs are worth the wait. Please post more pictures if you get the chance, and feel free to ask any questions. Good luck!

I'm so excited, I can't wait to start getting blue eggs! I've heard they have great personalities so I'm looking forward to that as well!

These are the only two I have. There were 4 eggs in the incubator, two blue and two black and the little black ones didn't hatch for some reason.

They almost made it to term but must have passed away just a few days before the hatching, I'm thankful that two hatched so there wouldn't be one lonely one though!

I do have a picture of my dog Francis with his new babies I will post!

Awww!! It took ours a while, but we now get regular blue eggs. It's a very rewarding experience to be able to pick them up out of the nesting box :)
Too bad about the eggs that didn't hatch. Location permitting, you could get some more chicks, because its usually good to have more. Also, if one is a rooster, it might be better to have more than one hen.
Your dog is very cute, and you are lucky that he likes chickens. My dog is a terrier and we can't let her near them

, but still there haven't been any serious issues so far.
