It started with Snow deciding to take Thorn, a River Packer as her mate. This resulted in her having his pups, breaking the laws of the packs. She had three, a black male named Darkpup, a white, red, and grey female named Moonpup, and a grey and black male, Snarkpup. When the pups turn four moons, Darkstorm forced the two more dog-like ones out of the pack. They join River Pack and end up being Night and Lake. Night and Lake's father, Thorn, ails and dies.
Forward in time, Snarkpup is now Blue who secretly has a mate, a loner husky. She has pups, Greypup, Lilypup, and Snappup. Sometime within their first or second moon, she ends up dying, and fearful of Storm Pack, Greypup, Lilypup, and Snappup join River Pack to be cared for by Night.
In the war, Blue attacks and ruthlessly kills Lake, and tries to do the same to Night, but Night fought back and ended up killing Blue.
Night and Snow see each other, but before they interact much, the battle ends and they go back to their camps.

Lilypup is currently hiding in the pup den because Dark was just killed, and Night ordered all the pups to stay in the pup den until the territory was secured.
