Friends! My chickens have contracted a suspicious deadly disease and i have lost 6 chickens in last 7 days. Dying chicken was very healty and active a day before. Symptoms include white liquidy poo, loss of appetite in chicks, chick becomes lifeless in a day, and dies the next day. Some one plz help me to sort this issue

Welcome To BYC

I'm sorry for your loss.

How old are they?
How long have you had them?

Any chance they have ingested something rotten, decaying or toxic?

I have 8 chicks, out of total eleven, all about a month old. Their mother also died recently.i have a rooster almost 1.5 years.

I got these pets about 3 months ago. I fed my chicks with meat, i suspect is the main cause of intestinal infection.

Your advice needed

Can you post some photos of the chicks, their housing and their poop?

Where are you located?
Do you have commercial chick starter available?
What was the meat that you fed them?

You suspect intestinal infection - can you take a fresh poop sample to a vet for a fecal float and gram stain to test for Cocci, worms and bacteria?

Do they have any blood or mucous in their poop? If so, you may want to start them on Corid.
