My family and I just moved out to a small farm. Our first goal after moving in, was to bring in chickens. We ended up with 10 Cornish Cross, 25 Rhode Island Reds, 5 Golden Comets, and 8 random ones the kids picked out that I've about determined include 1 Brown Leghorn, 2 Austra Whites, 1 Australorp, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Buff Orpington, and 2 Wyandottes. My goal is to raise them for a mixture of eggs and meat in as much a natural life as I can. We are excited to be getting started!
