Went to turn lights off and found this chic walking weird. My daughter thinks she's the one that jumped from her hands earlier this afternoon. Idea attached if it will load. Please excuse the breathing I ran in to get phone and back out to barn! I can't feel any obvious break. It's not hot. Do I just wait and see? What do I do?

I don't know how to load the video :-(

Here is a shot. The leg kinda bends out. I wish I could share the video. And I've had a long talk with the kids. We aren't sure if it's the same chicken or what happened but it's all I can come up with.

It may be a minor sprain. It should heal in about two weeks, if you think a splint is needed then make a "Thomas splint" (look it up on youtube on how to make it). Maybe isolate him/hers. Take out the roosting bar(s) since he/she can make it worse. The leg may be out of use for a day or two (an estimate from how long I did not use my finger after I sprained it).

Thankyou. I'll get the vitamin. I was in the barn putting a cage up to keep her confined. I'll post a pic when I can get back out. I hope it's ok. The baby woke and I had to come in. I just don't want her hurting I hope it gets better miraculously fast. Is there anyway to post a video?

The smallest two silver wyandottes can get in with her and cuddle but this limits her mobility and keeps her with the girls. Is this ok?

That looks great! Nice and roomy, but she can be with the others

That is so cute that the smallest ones can get in the cage to cuddle.

The best way for us to see a video is post it to youtube, then give us a link.
