Hi there! We are brand new owners of some interesting breeds of chicks. We have just purchased French Balck Copper Marans, Australorps, Ameracaunas, and two goofy little Polish chicks. I research everything intensely! (university warped my brain to do that!) so I'm very excited to learn all I can about my new babies! I look forward to chatting with the peeps in this group.

Welcome!

Your little ones are adorable! Best wishes to you and them.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. I see you found the ‘Canadians check in here’ thread.

If you would like to share more pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Did I mention that I have a few Australorps? They are from a pure line, and I'm planning on keeping them that way. They are gorgeous birds.
