Hi everyone, I have a brinsea mini advance and I always fill half the reservoir and have gotten good hatch rates so far . The things is how often should I fill it I don't want to keep opening the lid from the incubator everyday. I just feel like that will decline the hatch rate of the eggs. Thanks!

That's hard for us to say since we don't know what your humidity reading is like and how much it is dropping in one day... I, for example, do not add any water until day 18.

Opening the bator during incubation will not lower your hatch rate. Momma hens get off the eggs regularly to eat, drink, poop and stretch their legs. I hand turn and candle daily, turning 3xs a day. You can't judge humidity by how much water to fill, you need an idea of the humidity % and what works for your eggs. Your incubator humidity will differ depending on the relative humidity.

Thank you all for the advice, I have a good idea on how to fully regulate my incubator now. :)
