Any idea on breed or sex??
Plymouth Barred Rock male/cockerel.
I'm thinking a Barred Rock and most likely a cockerel

That bird has pink skin instead of yellow, so my guess would be a cuckoo marans. I'm also going to guess that you are in the UK or perhaps Australia, as marans have clean legs there as oppose to the feather legged French variety that they have in the USA and France of course!
PS. It really helps if you include your location on your profile page so that we can see at a glance where you are in the world. Country is enough, it doesn't have to be a specific address or anything. It makes a difference because breed standards vary from country to country as in this case with Marans, but also different seasons and climates can make a difference to advice you might seek in the future about moulting or health and management issues.
