But the roo will be Heterozygous for Barred Bb so he will be dark barred like the hen not the light color barred you see in most barred roosters. You would have to breed him back to his mother and then you could get a homozygous rooster BB.

Buff Orps are actualy eWh/eWh(wheaten) s+/s+(recessive sex linked gold the + sign is to assert that is a wild based gene and not a mutation like sex linked silver S) b+/b+(wild gene for none barring)

Golden cuckoo are ER/ER, s+/s+ and B/-(Hen, Hemizygous for barring)

The cross will yield sex links
Males: ER/eWh s+/s+ B/b+
Females: ER/eWh s+/- b+/- females
