Normal duck feet?

After doing more research I'm going to try to treat it with vetericyn first, I don't want to pick at anything yet, if the vetericyn doesn't work and something needs to come out i will mess with it then.

Without taking the scabs off and removing the infection and any possible foreign object like splinter or thorn, it won't be able to heal... you want to avoid active cutting as much as possible, but due to the way poultry infection hardens up into a clump, it needs to be removed for it to heal... soaking it first in warm epsom salt water softens the scabs enough that most times they come off easy and you can usually see the whitish/yellowish clumps... anything that color inside the tissue is not healthy tissue... also, clear/colorless iodine helps much more than vetericyn spray...
