11 again today.
Hubby went to the coop ahead of me to change the water and decided that today would be the day everyone gets outside time. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to find them out and about pecking happily in the yard. I wasn't worried about the garden as we have raised beds and they would really have to be motivated to get to the veggies. Come dusk everybody but one made their way back home. Silly dear was confused and couldn't find her way back without being herded. She didn't have a name before but now she will be called Clueless.
(She joins the ranks of Big Chickie, Pretty Girl, Pretty Girl's Friend, Mean Girl, Big Red, Kitty, Empress of course, and Husky, a Golden Comet that has one blue and one brown eye. I know, my naming sense needs work.)
