We went to the co-op and talked with them about what we should feed my geese and they recommended duck and goose grower. It is a 17% protein feed designed to be fed from 3 weeks of age until market (or death at a ripe old age from natural causes). I could type out all the vitamin supplements it has but it would a long time with my hunt and peck typing style.
The people at the co-op initially wanted to sell me their 17% egg mash mix which would have been cheaper, but I told them I didn't want to feed the geese a powder because it would cake in their nostrils.
The co-op can custom mix feed for me based on what I tell them I want, but I would have to buy it by the ton, which might be a problem for storage. Anyone have a spare grain silo sitting around?
