how much do you charge for your eggs?

Selling mine at at $4 dozen and can't keep any in the house. Also have 2 customers that pay $5 for the guarantee of a dozen a week.To complicate matters I lost 4 girls to predators and the new batch of 8 are a ways off and now heat and humidity.

I definitely know the feeling, it is very stressfull. Luckily you get a little more money but obviously doesn't help with 4 girls down.

I had to sadly rehome 3 hens(feather pickers) 2 I feel like are always broody 3 are bantams(2 yet to lay) and 1 close to laying but not quite yet. Im doing ok egg wise but need to re-evaluate my hen situation at some point to have a little better count of daily eggs.

Good luck with your girls and eggs!

I'm in Hawaii and I get $6 (private buyer) and $7 (net $6.25 through local ag coop) per dozen. This barely covers my feed cost here, which runs $24 - $26 per 50# bag.

I live in the Baltimore/DC area. I sell my eggs to my coworkers for 3.00/dozen, they must provide the egg box/container
I could probably charge more but they are my coworkers so I am just trying to cover my costs. My chickens free range a 3-4 hours a day during the week while I can watch them then they have a large outdoor fenced area while I am in the house..On weekends they free range about 6 hours a day.
