I am selling a few dozen eggs per week and my state law requires, among other things, unlabeled, non-recycled (never been used) cartons be used to sell the eggs. I have looked around on ebay and hatchery sites for the cheapest new, plain egg cartons, but have not been terribly satisfied with what I have found; all seem expensive to me.

Just wondering if anyone can point me in a good direction for the best-priced plain new cartons before I spend my money somewhere else. Thanks in advance for your help!

Last year I purchcase plain cartons from someone on ebay. I think I got 50 for less than $20 shipping included. I started to give out eggs for free, under the rule that I get the cartons back. Now I have so many cartons because not only did they return the cartons I gave the eggs in, they gave me any extra cartons they got from food stores. However, those had printing on them. I would check ebay from time to time. Maybe it is the time of year that the prices seem high.

I know what you mean. For ever dozen I give out with the rule bring back the carton and I will refill it everyone brings back extra just for me to have. I have alot of the 18 packs. Soon I will be able to fill one of those in less than 3 days. I can't wait. I love going outside on egg hunts.

I'm in Kentucky - I have looked at a few of those sites and was hoping for something a little cheaper...oh well, if anyone else has any suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks.
