For high egg yields and excellent meat birds of medium size, Anconas, Harlequins and Magpies are hard to beat. Campbells, Hook Bills and Runners are lean, high-quality, medium-small meat birds when butchered in prime condition.
So depends on what you want. Muscovies are delicious and Pekins are great too.

Even Runners are good. Ive got a couple in freezer camp.

I heard Muscovy's are great because no grease. How do they compare to Pekins?
I've been thinking about raising a few more Cayugas for meat.
