how do ducks drown???

I didn't read anything "snarky" in that post. I think she was just letting you know how ducks can be.

I have grown up ducks that can't seem to grasp the idea of what a ramp is for half the time.

When they were babies they used a clean (new) cat litter box for bath time. It worked perfectly. They really don't need much water to play in. Babies will get tired fast and can drowned. When they got older I bought a kiddie pool for them.

Hi I lost one of my fawn runners today when I found him dead in his water pool without any signs of a predator getting him, he was fine this morning when I let him out of his pen but later when I went to put all the ducks away he was dead in the water, I don't know if any of the other ducks drowned him or if he was sick but he didn,t appear to show any symptoms of sickness could anyone tell me what could have happened to him? please reply
