I have the list of stores from Manna Pro but when I try to attach it, it says I don't have permission to create attachments. Any idea why?
It's an Excel file.
I was very excited to see that our WalMart was now carrying other animal foods and supplies especially when they were made by Manna Pro! Much to my disappointment when I got home with my Egg Layer and poured it into the storage container it was more dust than crumble it looked like the bottom of a bag of cereal! I am in the process of writing the company to complain and will no longer take the chance by purchasing this product.
I find that it is a finer crumble than many other brands more like milled feed (and more 'gray' in color) but I can't say I would call it dust from my experience, maybe you got a funky batch?
Since the only local feed store has horrible hours, I have found myself occasionally picking up the Walmart feeds as I can do it 24/7, that assumes they have stock... Since I have a mixed flock I don't want the calcium overload and thus cut the layer with the pelleted pig feed 1 bag layer 2 bags hog 14 when I do use it that way it's mostly pellets but they still get the trace elements that are slightly different in the chicken feed, plus it's not my birds sole diet they get fresh fruits, vegetables and misc treats every day...
An FYI, I use the Walmart scratch regularly as wild bird feed (mix in some sunflower seeds and it's still substantially cheaper then even the cheapest wild bird feed) and pick up the wagon train (goat) feed as a treat for my llamas and goats as well on occasion, if you are looking for consistency you won't find it with this feed... The types of grains (formula) in the feed rotate quite often from batch to batch, depending on the season... I have opened up two bags of the goat feed purchased at the same time and they looked entirely different, I looked at the 'made' date on the bottom sew strip and sure enough they were made a few weeks apart...
