Oh yes, I've been paying 9.60 a 50lb bag. Thank goodness all my chickens free range, helps alot.
When I got my chics three years ago feed was about 6.50 a bag. I guess since they mix a little corn in the feed is yet another reason why it's going up.

before winter i was paying $6.69 a 50lb sack.so in winter i switched to corn at $5/50lb sack.an now my lay pellets are costing me $7.50/50lb.its the cheapest feed i have to buy lolol.

The price of corn is rising since it is the main ingredient in ethanol, the primary alterative fuel being used for pollution control. Prices are high now, but the good news is that it's expected to level off and decrease again as farmers plant more corn to meet demands.

same here on the pricing but remember corn is not the greatest thing in the world for feed.im a big fan of wheat.its 5 bucks per 50lb bag.it wont sour like corn will and im sure the usefull nutrition is better than corn as most other grains are.

TSC raised the price her months ago and has had to put it on sale since Agway didn't raise --- I am still paying 24 cents a lb or 9.53/50lbs for 22% at Agway

I'm paying the 11.85 rate here in NY. I've got to buy more tomorrow! Thank God my are finally free ranging alittle, that should help alot.
