I finally got a job offer. I've been unemployed since September and have not been able to find anything that paid more then $8/hour. Can't feed 4 kids with that chicken scratch. I was getting real worried as my unemployment is about to run out and the interviews and waiting then thanksgiving and a tour and waiting more was killing me. I just signed the job offer this morning and go tomorrow for the drug screen and physical and should start this Monday. I had to tell someone as my wife already knows.

Thanks and yes I will be sleeping much better tonight. I got on with a small company called Barilla.

They make pasta on a monumental scale. It is different then anything I have done before as I am more of a framer/meat cutter. But after the company shut down tha plant I worked at I wanted to change lanes a bit. Plenty of room for advancement and great benefits too.

Congratulations! It always takes so long to fill a job and the waiting is terrible. However, you can rest easy now. That's always a great feeling.
 
Barilla pasta is good stuff, we eat it often. Maybe they will let you have freebies like some companies do.

Congratulations on the job, we have had a hard time finding a job for my son in this area, we moved to a small town in the country and there really isn't much available but we are close enough to one larger town and he was Finally able to get on with Circuit City. They started him at 4 a.m on Black Friday! he worked 15 hours his first day....I thought that was kind of mean but he seems ok with it.

Anyway. CONGRATULATIONS!
