Nature is wonderful in it's simplicity! The fact that you could take an egg laid by one chicken and have it hatched by another with the baby bonding to that chicken as "mother" is amazing! Now that is parenting without any prejudice!!

Great story! That is how I plan to handle my broodies. Give them an egg(s) and make 'em happy!

I love the way hen-hatched chicks fluff out so quickly!
