Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

If you want to add me to your map feel free.  I live in Landenberg, PA.  19350.  We have many chicken breeds, 28 horses, 3 lambs, 6 turkeys, 10 dogs, countless barn cats and hardly any spare time.  lol  I look forward to talking with ya'll!

Hiya Neighbor! Coatesville here, 28 horses? I am officially done complaining about watering and feeding.

Thank you. They're both hams...Stitch has decided if s/he sees that I'm holding the phone anywhere near him/her (find out soon enough) it's time to sit/stand pretty. If I didn't know any better I'd think Stitch knows his/her self when I look through the pics or load them on the comp. The more Stitch sees them the better s/he sits whenever my phone is out...
Ha! I have the cutest little Yorkie but he is such a pain! Whenever we point anything at him that has a camera on it, he senses it and starts looking down/ away.

Added you!

quite frankly I am not sure what i will do with sweet cherries,, all i can think of is sweet cherry wine..(dagnamit, now that song is stuck in my head )

I'm all for that idea!

Is it me or does anyone else just get lost when off for a few days ?:duc

Of course...and reading on the phone doesn't help.

:p ....always....bread crumbs don't help either

Of course not, the chickens eat them faster than you can leave them.

So I found this picture of no-sew chicken aprons on another thread. Has anyone here tried them and if so is it worth my effort? Have lots of fleece leftover from blanket projects. I swear my sewing machine hates me. It never wants to work right. My poor little frizzle Cochin is the only one of age and the silkie

roo is pulling out her feathers. She has a big bare spot in her back from the action.

Never tried them, but I like the idea a lot. I love to sew, but never have time. If I did find time to sew, I know I wouldn't use it for chicken aprons. Those fleecone ones look like they could be cut out in just a few minutes - much more my speed. Do you have dimensions for them?

Sounds like you got so good at chicken math that you expanded it to all your other critters!!

Everyone will need a list of breeds to assist us in enabling the rest of the unaware folks! LOL

Happy Monday everyone! :) I got the chicken run done and moved the new girls in with the youngins. :) sorry I have been MIA lately. I have been trying to keep up with the posts. My friend is taking her chickens this weekend and my other coop is now empty... :) might order some eggs soon.

No dimensions so I will be doing chicken measurements when I get home today. If all goes well I'll post some pics.

My apron is 7 1/2 wide, 6 1/2 at the tail groove, 8 1/2 at the longest part. I would make butterfly wings if I were making one. Penny was okay for a few days when I put the apron on, but the rooster was working on her shoulders, and she now has no feathers there. Just outside of where the apron covers.
Do measure your hen. My apron fits most of my LF, but not the JG or EE.
