Just sold my first doz....a neighbor....but she kept asking me when some would be available...she is also really health oriented....I think I have another neighbor that will want some too...for my little flock I will only need about 4-5 folks. I also live in suburbia...so aside from Trader Joe's and Whole foods....supply is limited....I think word of mouth is your best option...my two cents...

I know very little, but, maybe Apple Cider Vinegar with mother might help....I suggest this because I bought a pint and the clerk in the store asked me if I was sick...I said no and he mentioned he took a teaspoon whenever he got a cold....I also know its used in FF to help with digestive stuff...maybe somebody who knows more could comment...

Thank you :) I don't have really close neighbors. We live in the country. We gave 1 neither that is prob 4-5 houses away. I love not have neighbors too close. We just moved here a year ago so maybe this will help us make friends with the neighbors too;)
 
Anybody been to the Wayne County Fair were going this weekend on sat which is the last day wasn't sure if they had chicks for sale or not anything worth getting anyways just curious if I should bring a crate with me lol

The ACV with mother, when used for FF, is to start the fermenting process and is one option to start it. Some use brewer's yeast, some allow natural yeast in the air to colonize it. I know it's supposed to help with the digestive tract when added to the drinking water, but I know my chickens and ducks will drink from the dirty pond before they'll drink the clean water in the waterers.

Trust there to be a storm coming at dinner/shower/bedtime rush.

Think I'll put the girls in earlier tonight, don'treally feel like running around in the rain later.
