ANYONE ????????????

I would love to, but the only banty size chickens I have are broody right now so not laying, I have 2 other 'small' hens, but they are mutts, and in the coop with both a small and full size rooster, so no idea how big their babies would be. Wish we could help...:(

No eggs at all here. My birds were moved twice in 4 weeks. Took them 2 weeks to come off strike the first time. Now they have no run & no light in the coop so I doubt we will see any eggs until I can either get a run built or lights run. No help on either from JJ. Been hard enough to even get him out of bed to do anything lately. I have 1 nerve left & he's getting on it. We are just about to see how well he avoids the door swinging at his rear as he exits it....grrrrrrr

I'm likin all this turkey talk. Showed dad pallet coops for the first time yesterday and he was like  and thought it was cool. I think t'll be coool to have turkeys, but everyone said that they're like dogs. So there's no way I could process them. That'd be terrible.

Just remembered to check SandHill Poultry to see if they have the list for 2014 out yet, and wouldn't you know the one breed I want is sold out already

What were you looking for, the Tomaru ?

Hey guys!
Haven't been able to come on here too much now that school started but I hope all is well.

My grandmother is looking for another coop, and wants one that can house 2 birds at least. She is willing to go up to 150. If you know anyone looking to sell around my area (zip code 19116) can you PM me?

Thanks!

ANYONE ????????????

I do have 2 hens and 2 roosters I would be willing to give him though... the hens are both very small and are polish mixes, one rooster is small, gorgeous colors and has feathery feet also, second is a white 1/2 silkie. They aren't lap chickens but not mean at all. They are both medium green egg layers and do well either free ranging or in the coop/run, as long as they have a decent sized pan for dusting in... they do love their dust baths!
If he keeps them separated from his other birds during quarantine he should have hatchable eggs after about 3 or 4 weeks.

Phyllis... blue gray color green eggs.

'Mini G' .. 1/2 silkie mix, hatched here by a broody. Great with the girls.

not the best pic.... but Napolean with his girls, Phyllis and Be'llana....
Better shot of Napoleon... with Be'llana in background

Be'llana... lays green eggs.

I was going to include them in my 'for sale ' list soon, but would be willing to give them to a youngster getting started.

Scot's Dumpy....having a hard time finding eggs or chicks,,,those that do breed will not part with what they have.........been searching for 2 years now...

I feel your pain!!... Have been trying to find good quality breeder stock of heritage white Cornish without luck. One 'breeder' said 'no real breeder he knows would sell hatching eggs' he only sells adult trios and he wants $300 per trio... I want hardy, sturdy and healthy birds to add into my backyard flock, not worried about showing and sure not going to pay $300 for birds I don't plan to show and whose personality I can't control... with a dozen hatching eggs I can raise the chicks and decide which have the personality we want and butcher the others.
