I do know of a bird sitting but she is still there and only has 3 eggs because I took the rest from her..
Silly birds, chicks are for spring...
If you have ever been to my place, you would understand how things like this happens.
That's awesome! It's amazing what those birds can do. Wing, is there any chance I could have a few extra fertile eggs when I pick up chickens in December, If my girl is still broody? If you have any to spare, and of course I would pay your for them. I don't care what kind they would be, but I wouldn't be babying them, I would just throw them under my broody and hope for the best. Sorry if that sound stupid or cruel. I'd like to break her, but not with torture in this cold.

That's an excellent sign! If you get an egg in a few weeks, we'll know for sure.

A cold name won't work for this one since it didn't hatch on that super cold day like the others. Of course this is all "if" it hatches. I need a name revolving around being late or delayed lol
Hope the little one makes it! How about Tardy for a name?
