I bought some eggs and some of the eggs had the possiblility of being mixed. I just love that little roo. Tiny as he is he always is the first to greet me at the door.

I was just wondering what type of chicken the black and white laced one is. The one who is larger than the rest. She looks so much like one of my cochins who we think is a mix.

Sorry for hijacking.

Thanks,
Janice

The white and black chicken is a hatchery silver laced cochin pullet. She has a leg that was broken and never healed right, so she is in with the littler ones for company while she figures out how to get around okay.

Sorry about that. First time with EEs. My son picked her out of a brooder at the feed store. They were marked as Ameraucana. I should have looked into the breed a little more. (Especially since one of my Buff Orp chicks from the same store grew into a beautiful a Red Star!)

Here are a couple of more pictures of Roadrunner (and her Buff Cochin sister, Gold Diamond). the last two pictures are at 6-8 weeks old.
