I have mallards and I know a place were I can catch minnows by the hundreds,could I fill a kiddie pool up with clear water and pour them in?Its would really help me pay not so much on feed.

Oh mY goodness YES! My ducks go bonkers for them. Heck, the ducks that wont let me near them eat them out of my hand!!!

I think it's important that they be fresh water minnows and not ocean ones.. but mine love all kinds of pond fishies... RIP pond goldfish!
oh yeah! sorry fishies. we have a natural pond my ducks swim in and sometimes you see them come up and glup something down. thats when i don't wanna know what they just ate. LOL!

They LOOOOOOOOOVE eating fish. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself!
I get my ducks minnows from the bait shop periodically and they just gulp them up! Three dozen minnows, and the guy is being generous so it's more like five dozen, gone within two hours! Sometimes some chasing of the minnows is involved...
Yep minnows and floating catfish food are great treats for any type of waterfowl, they love them!
