When they're 6 mos. old (about) females will lay eggs. I'm not sure about breeding though....

No more ducks. They were yellow and fuzzy, then white and feathery, then I left, and there were no more ducks. Sad, but slightly joyus now that I am home with my Father.

My young runners have been "practicing " for about a month now- and I have just recently begun to get eggs.  They are now 23 weeks old.
Alot can depend on the breed of duck- the climate or season where you live.
I have checked the first few eggs for fertility and found the second and third eggs laid are fertile.
