I was thinking if she was younger this could be a new way to get attention, but if she was an older cat and had never done it before it'd be more likely there was something wrong. But personally it wouldn't be enough for me to be concerned unless there were other behaviour changes going along with it. I also agree if she's not spayed, it could be a heat thing. I had one once that was very affectionate to my shoe when she came in.
I'm crazy about my cat, dispite his goofy behaviour at times, like I said as long as I keep his nails trimmed it's fine, other then him occationally catching me off guard. I've had him since he was somewhere around 2 weeks old, he's very sweet and knows when I'm not in the mood to mess with him. He's also the best mouser I know.
