Thought you guys would get a kick out of this!
Maybe it's because they basically grew up together, and because Bella did not have any other ducks at the time to call his friends, but my duck and my cat became best buds.. Monkey (the cat) was a kitten when we got him and so we raised him with exposure to ducks and other animals. I still think Bella thinks he is a cat, not a duck! But people kept saying I just HAD to get pics of the two of them playing and cuddling, so I finally did! Pardon the quality, but they taken from pretty far away. No one can tell me that cats and birds can't get along!
