I ordered 8 silkies and rec'vd 6 blue/splash silkies and 6 yellow chicks that do not look like silkies. If these are silkies, what color will they likely grow into? Thanks so much for your help!

Silkies usually have feathered feet. Also black beaks and feet. Don't think they are silkies. They are cute though.

^ Exactly why I am so confused. I was thinking they were cochins.

Very loveable breed. if it turns out to be a hen, she'll be one of your best broodies.

Cochins have feathered feet as well, so they would not be cochins. Orpingtons are sweet and good layers from what I have heard. Enjoy them.

They are buff orpington chicks for definate...they are very friendly birds & tend to be quite good layers...i have a buff orpington & shes a great bird!
