I bought 24 guinea eggs off of ebay, I now have them under one of my broody hens. I candled them and I haven't the slightest clue what I should see. Today is day 8....are these eggs normal? Some I see little things in and some i just see yolk.

Egg #1....this is what i see in most of them.... normal?

I see some veining in some of the pictures so you have some fertile eggs there. Fertility is confirmed by spider web or veining inside the eggs.

Congrats and good luck!

I candled the eggs today...they look really big, its almost completely black in there besides the air cell!

I never managed to see anything in my guinea eggs except the air cell in the viable ones and clear in the non. 21/29 hatched even though I could not see anything!!

Now..what am I going to do with all these keets? hahaha..

I couldn't even see the air cell in them when I first got them. But, I have a light that lights them up pretty good and you can see their little toes moving around in the eggs now, kicking and twitching. It's soo adorable! I can't wait for them to hatch (I'm almost tooo excited)! That's good! My hen cracked one the first day, four were not fertile, and one was rotten. I think that is still a pretty good number. Haha...I would gladly take them off your hands!
