NEAS Meet-up's Westford ma (buy sell swap)11/4 see post #1090

OK, so who else is planning on going Sunday?? And what are you planning on bringing?? I am debating on selling my diamond doves, the zebra finches seem to think that the feathers on the poor hens head are great for lining their nests. I might try putting the doves into another cage, they are so calm and docile and the canaries and zebras are so busy all the time.. I will be looking for a male zebra finch, black cheek if Bob and Cindy are coming can you please bring me a male????

I'll be at Westford. I'll have for girls

one 1 1/2 year old black Langshan hen
one 1 1/2 year old a white Langshan hen
almost 1 year old Langshan/Sussex hen
and maybe a 2 month old black bantam Faverolles pullet (only 4 toes on each foot)

I've listed the Coronation Sussex birds I have available in BST, but if no one is interested I'll also have 5-one year old Coro Sussex hens. Patty, I'll save at least one for you if you still want one.

For the boys

One large Sussex/Fav for the roo fairy (kid aggressive)
2 salmon faverolles cockerels - nice boys but not what I need for my breeding program

I am looking for a bantam frizzle rooster- will consider all colors

Is there any way to find out if someone would have Mandarin's at this swap? I don't want to drive all the way down if there isn't a chance. While I love a good swap the gas prices are killing me.

I hear you loud and clear on the gas issue. Most of the people that sell at this venue do not come on this forum. There a a few guys that are always there with exotic breeds of ducks, peacocks, and last time one guy have black and white swan pairs and OMG they were gorgeous. Even if there are no mandarins this time, I think you will fond it worth the drive to see so many beautiful birds in one place and the prices are so reasonable because the sellers are aware that buyers are going to give great homes to them. Let me look at my newsletter to see if thee is a contact for mandarins or someone that can let you know more.hold on....

or call Tom that runs the event because he knows all the pther breeders and breeds himself different birds.

You may even find something you didn't realize you needed.

There may even be more than usual also since last month's was cancelled. And this time we won't freeze! Just remember to wear mud boots. The road isn't paved.
