Thinking about getting a mohawk, opinions and tips?

wax to me is very sticky i find it gross and i use it when doing dreadlocks cause it makes the hair stick together even more better, BUT the downside to using it is your hair doesnt breath and becomes more damaged, thats my personal opinion on wax, now my hair in this picture my hair was 5 inches off my head standing straight up i was 18 in that pic i didnt use hairspray or any products i just teased the bottom and flat ironed the tips it was awesome. im now 20 and doing even more crazy things with my hair like i have said up above. well anyways here is the picture im glad that your gonna do your hair, just be yourself.

I should mention that not all hair dressers can copy a hair cut. There are chain style hair salons that are geared to just do a standard pre-designed hair cut. You are going to need a hair stylist that knows how to do an artistic hair styles. I think that I would interview stylist before I let anyone actually start cutting. You will really need to avoid any stylist that starts to tell you that they can't do the style you want on you. I would trust that kind of statement and go find some one that can do it. I think that you are going to need a hairdresser that is an artist at their craft.

Given that you are living in north Texas, you will probably need to go into Dallas or Fort Worth to find a hairdresser that has experience with the style that you are looking for.
