Anyone use Flubenvet 1% for worming? I have 3 flocks--1 group is 21 birds, 1 group is 10, 1 group is 12. How do I divide it up in the feed? And do I dispense each day for 7 days?
Has anyone had good luck with the product?

You are most welcome--it is a good product? I hope the company is legit. I am interested as there is no egg withdrawal. What is difficult for me is figuring out the dosage... I have my flock in 3 sections--1 flock has 20 birds, 1 flock has 10, and one has 12. Plus how much do I give just for individuals birds? I am stumped sorry

Hey Flock Mistress--see you are writing from South Florida. I am in Northern Florida. Have you had any experience with fowl pox in Florida.
 
i use flubenvet 1%

easiest way to distribute it i found is....

buy a 20kg bag of food, split it up into 4 tubs of various sizes (5kg in a 20kg tub, 5kg in a 15kg tub, 5kg in a 10kg tub 5 kg in a smaller tub)

pour the whole tub of flubenvet in the first smaller tub (60g flubenvet to 5kg feed. mix it really really well.
pour this tub into the next size up tub mix well then into the next mix well then into the last, mix well...this ensures even distribution.

you must then feed every day for 7 days....is 20kg enough food for your three flocks for 7 days? they must only have the grains with the flubenvet in, otherwise they wont receive enough. for my flock of 60 birds one 60g tub was not enough it lasted 5 days so i had to mix up more. maybe i fed them too much feed but i dont think so

i figured out as long as they got a good cup full of feed each per day they must be getting enough inside them...no worm trouble since

so id say 25kg feed for 60 birds...

you have just under that so a 20kg sack of feed with the whole tub of flubenvet (60g) should do...just ration it out between the 7 days
