Shipping hatching eggs in the winter - - - Whatch think? ?

If they seller is careful to get them to the PO and not let them freeze they will prob be okay. I got some ameraucana eggs from ahappychick (lives in NY) last December and they did really good, except that most of them were roos LOL!! I also got some blues and blue copper marans from peachick in Maryland and they did good too.

I would assume that the post office would keep them at room temperature at least while they are in charge of the package ? It's what happens after they drop them off that they could get frozen , that would be my guess ??.I would love to order in some eggs now , but am also worried about the cold weather .
