Hi, I live in Knoxville and I was wondering if anybody in the East Tennessee area knows of any good shows or auctions. I also wanted to know if some of us could meet and swap and sell chickens. Thank You

Birds will arrive at the crack of dawn. They will end when the birds are gone or the judging is over, whichever happens first. Probably around 4pm-ish.

I will have some silkie & d'Uccle chicks there. I hope to have a LOT of d'Uccle chicks in various colors, to create more knolwledge of them as a breed and encourage folks to show them at the November Cocke County show. The November show will be a d'Uccle state meet.

Hopefully I will be NPIP by that time, but it's been sloooooooooooow getting a call back to schedule the testing

barge, I haven't been able to make the Tuesday meetings. Seems like my daughter has something going on almost every day of the week lately (high school).

National
Poultry
Improvement
Plan

The state comes out and tests all adult birds for pullorum-typhoid. I want to be NPIP so that my show birds don't have to be tested at every show they go to (or every 3 months). Also, being NPIP means I can sell eggs/chicks to other NPIP particiapants.
