Please Everyone- Earlobe Color Has Nothing To Do With Egg Color

I know this is an old thread, but I am SO thankful to find it as noone believes my Cream Legbars have blue green ear lobes. They really, really do.
New stock from Greenfire Farms in March 2015. Glad to know I am not crazy?

Page 485. Warren disproved a genetic correlation between ear lobe color and egg color back in 1928.

I realize this thread is very old, but I just wanted to add a study to the discussion. I think the ear lobe color egg color linkage is an old timer truism that is repeated by reputable old timer exhibition breeders who probably never crossed two breeds in their life. Anybody who has crossed a lot of different breeds has personally seen all the exceptions and knows that there is no genetic linkage.
