From Feathersite.

According to Feathersite, they seem to vary as much as the next village chicken though, but seem to be quite useful and very pretty. The fifth toe especially is a neat and uncommon trait.

Araucanas, Polish, Shamos, Olive Eggers, and a handful of Finn Sheep, Wensleydale Sheep, Gotland Sheep, Kinder Goats, a Yak, and various rare breed Turkeys, Ducks, and Pigs.

Hi All
Thanks for the info everyone, will take a few pics of them later and post it, we live on a wine farm about an hour from cape town in the beautiful village of Franschhoek, today is a hot day about 40 degrees Celsius, and looks like its going to stay that way for the week.
I am Married and two Kids,  six chickens, two dogs ( Labrador and Boxer) and a cat

The Venda remind me of a strong resemblance to Orust Hens and Exchequer Leghorns. Wonder if there is some relation between all these breeds as I wouldn't be surprised that early settlers from Europe and U.K. brought such breeds to South Africa. More vaguely the Asturian Painted Hen looks similar too.
