Here is the new brooder that I setup last night. 8in deep 36in by 24in.

Cost:
Plastic Tub: $14.00
Peg Board : $6.00
10' of 1\\4 caging $13.00
Existing Heat Lamp keeping it at 90 degrees. 1 week olds are all over the place so they're comfy.

Only bad thing is wood chips in the food\\water.

Got it from Lowes near the cement mixing supplies. Ya, it was exactly what I'd been looking for in Walmart and a few other places. It's called the Super Tub I believe.

. i have some very similar to that but use the deeper, clear Sterlite brand tubs . i cut the center of the plastic lid away and replace it with 1/2" hardware cloth.....
