ok to feed popcorn to the chickens?

Is it ok to feed our girls popcorn that is popped?

First Off welcome-byc

and yes it is fine they love it just make sure it's not heavy on the salt.

welcome-byc and i feed mine popcorn all the time with no problems

Family of 4 in Indiana.We Homeschool our son and we are learning to become more self-sufficient on our farm/There are lots of chicken breeds running around as well as 4 dogs and 2 cats..Small pumpkin farm.And Hatching is non-stop.Watch the farm on our website,while we grow,laugh learn.THis may be a crazy life but its our life!!!!

welcome-byc !! Whenever we have left over popcorn or just ANYTHING I give it to my chickens. They'll eat anything.

sometimes i will pop a bag of popcorn just for my chickens, they really love me for it, hmmmm maybe i am killing my chickens because of it idk, they love the popcorn though

i like to air pop popcorn.  I give the girls a little treat then I take mine and put a little olive oil, and virgin coconut oil....yummy with a bit of finely ground sea salt.

Living the good life with husband of 33 years, three grown, married children, 4 grandchildren.  And about 550 hostas.
Raising heritage  LF RC RIR's,  a couple of Marans and a few olive and easter eggers for a pretty egg basket.

frow & welcome-byc from Louisiana! The only thing I've found that my chickens won't eat is pineapple!! Everything else I feed them!

Great hubby, 2 kids, 3 furry babies, lots of chickens!!
