how to make you chicken grow bigger and faster

How would a green light increase muscle mass?

Yes green light increase their muscle mass till day 28 while blue increase their muscle mass after that. Its better to use blue light from starting because the difference between bl and gl till day 28 is about 0.05

Personally I don't think you can make them grow faster, but you can do your best to not have them grow slower by making sure they have a good balanced diet and easy access to food/water.

Adding protein can help, if they aren't getting enough. I typically feed some cooked or sprouted dry beans (never feed dry raw, poisonous) peas, various cheap meats, ground fish my kids catch (free).
Only benefits them to the point of where they are getting enough, especially if feeding a low grade feed that is lacking. I think feeding fermented feed also helps (debatable) if anything fermented feed gives them good pro/pre-biotics.
Protein additions above what they need/digest just gets pooped out and you just waste $.

Edit;
What the... guess I should check the dates on new posted threads, this one is ancient :hmm

There was this experiment carried out by
Rozenboim I, et al. Poult Sci. 2004

They put 20 newly hatched chicks in 1m2 box in a light isolated room. One with normal incasendent bulb, led blue emitted bulb, led green emitted bulbs and the result was like what i mentioned earlier. Sorry for my bad English lol

I just did a research on this since you asked about it
green light increases growth during the early stages of development by enhancing proliferation of skeletal muscle satellite cells, which repair and build muscle. Blue light is helpful in the growth and sexual development of poultry at a later age by elevation of plasma androgens, allowing the bird to put on more muscle mass. Combined green and blue light promotes myofiber growth due to more effective stimulation of testosterone secretion.

Is it a certain light bulb you have to use or is it just regular green or blue light you can buy at your local Wal Mart?
