'Lash' eggs

One of my hens is laying 'lash'. Quite a bit of it over the last few days and this morning it was really mucousy. Is she sick or just about to stop laying? No other strange behaviour from any of the girls - we have 6 hybrid hens, just over 2 years old.
 
I think this is lash. I'm afraid I couldn't bring myself to investigate it further but others describe it to be like play doh.
