What kind of chicks have fuzzy feet??

I've been searching the internet tonight and can't find much helpful info. I'd like to know what kinds of chicks/chickens have fuzzy feet. I got some day old chicks today and among them were 25 supposed cornish rocks, which at this point are all tiny adorable yellow chicks. But I noticed that a couple of them have really fuzzy feet, is that possible with this breed?? I wonder if they mixed them up with some other chicks.... hu

I don't know the answer, but you'll get better response if you move this to the "What Breed, Gender is This?"  thumbsup

"Dear Father hear and bless thy beasts and singing birds and guard with tenderness small things that have no words."
3 Chinese Cresteds, 3 cats, 1 Severe Macaw, Ameracanas/Easter Eggers, ISA Browns, Barred Rocks, French Black Copper Marans, Barnyard Mutts

I haven't ever seen or heard of this. I have raised a few batches of CX and they had clean shanks. Where did you order them from?

They came from Townline Hatchery, but I got them through our local farmer's co-op. They took many separate orders so if they sorted the chicks themselves I wouldn't be surprised if they mixed some up. I found a link with the kinds of chicks they hatch at Townline and (as long as it's not possible that these are Cornish Rocks) I think they might be Light Brahmas, they look similar to the chick pictures I looked up. Here's a link with the list of possible chicks..... http://www.townlinehatchery.com/hatchery_prices.htm

I got Red Pullets from TSC and a couple have "fuzzy feet."  I just assume it had to do with the molting process.  Look's like they have big woolly socks on.
